Unlike other portable saunas, the Soulfire sauna will go quite literally as hot as you desire. The Soulfire tent is capable of pushing temperatures upwards of 90°C in just 25 minutes, but has also managed to casually reach 112°C during testing. Be sure to take care, and stay within your limits.

The Soulfire tent utilises a unique quick pop-out design, so setting up and packing down is a breeze, and can be done by one person in less than 3 minutes.

Your choice! Water can be splashed on the hot rocks to increase humidity, or it can be used without water.

Absolutely! The Soulfire tent is made from durable and weather resistant materials, however you may encounter some sun fade, given enough time. It's highly advised to dissemble chimney and close the flap when not in use to avoid the stove rusting from exposure to rain, and put the window covers on to prevent discolouration. If weather conditions are extreme, we highly recommend storing the Soulfire tent in a safe place.

During harsh winds we always recommend packing ths sauna away, however there are flaps that run around the internal and external perimeter of the tent, we recommend weighing these down using something such as bricks or timber (optional). Additional to this, corner pegs are included, as well as ropes for securing all 4 sides of the tent.

No, the Soulfire tent does not release any harmful chemicals (VOCs) during operation, as measured in our testing. The tent is purpose built using heat treated Oxford 420D for the lining and high-temperature rated TPU for the windows, both of which are rated for use up to 150°C.

Our tents have been in use over 18 months now, and have not developed any unwanted smells.

The walls of the tent are approximately 1.8m x 1.8m x 2.1m at the highest point, it weighs approx. 16kg including carry bag. The perimeter flaps are slightly wider at 2.15m each side.

Please ensure to first check local council and fire department rules with regards to using portable woodfired saunas, but in our experience they are generally permitted in backyards Australia-wide since they are used for heating and in an enclosed fireplace and space. Local councils generally require you use dry firewood to reduce smoke emissions in built up areas. The Soulfire tent can be used outside only, on a level surface, in an open area. Please be mindful of fire hazards in the immediate area, and do not place the chimney under cover.

We have a premium folding bench seat available to purchase separately, otherwise we recommend using an untreated timber bench around 1.2m long, 45cm high, and 40cm wide. Please avoid plastic or fabric materials, as they may warp or overheat.

You can use the Soulfire tent without any special flooring underneath, however be mindful that nothing flammable should be in or around the tent. Please also be mindful anything directly under the stove could melt or warp.

Always ensure the airflow flap on the tent is open to supply stove with oxygen, this is very important. We recommend leaving the window covers on when not in use, as it will help prevent discolouration from the UV rays. Be sure the tent is dry before packing away long term to prevent mould. Never position the chimney underneath anything, it can burn whatever is above (eaves, roofs, trees, etc.). Never force the tent to pop open, if it's in the correct position it will be effortless.
