Soulfire Sauna Care & Maintenance Guide

The Soulfire sauna is built tough to handle the harsh Aussie elements—but like all good things, it needs simple care to stay at its best. Here are our top tips to keep your tent and stove in peak condition:

🛡️ Rust Prevention & Stove Care

Your stove, and especially the chimneys, are vulnerable to rust if left in moisture for too long. Pack them indoors when it rains to prevent build-up. If they must stay outside, check regularly for rust—wipe with white vinegar and a cloth, and keep them dry to help them last much longer.

☀️ Protecting Against Sun & Rain

Sun can fade fabrics, and rain makes stoves rust. Disassemble the chimney, close the flap, and pop on your window covers when not in use. If wild weather’s rolling in, tuck it away somewhere safe—it deserves a rest too.

💨 Wind Safety Tips

Strong winds and flying tents don’t mix. Best practice? Pack it away. If you must keep it up, weigh down the perimeter flaps with bricks or timber, and always use the corner pegs and ropes.

🔥 Stove & Airflow Best Practices

Always keep the stove airflow flap clear—oxygen is essential for both you and the fire. Never place the chimney under anything flammable (roofs, trees, eaves). Safety first! Season your stove before first use—expect it to glow and change colour, that’s normal.

🏕 Tent Care & Storage

The tent should pop open easily—don’t wrestle it. A gentle jiggle works wonders. Always store it dry to avoid mould. Use window covers when not in use for UV protection.

💧 Steam & Session Safety

Sprinkle water sparingly on the stones for steam. Keep your sauna on a flat surface. Always wear gloves when handling the stove (yes, it really does get that hot). And most importantly—check local fire bans before lighting up.

Take care of your Soulfire, and it will take care of you for years of sauna bliss.
