Before the stove can be used inside the tent, it must be seasoned in order to burn-off any residues from the manufacturing process. Essentially, set the stove up in a clear and level area, stack the chimney and place the rock holder on top, then light a fire inside and allow it to burn out. Once cool, the stove is now ready for use, and can be moved inside the tent.

The tent can be washed with a small amount of mild detergent and warm water, and the stove can be wiped down with a damp cloth and/or white vinegar.

The stove is made from lightweight and strong stainless steel, and will get extremely hot during use. Please ensure the stove is never touched while there is an active fire, and always use the provided gloves if you need to open the door, as the handle can also get very hot. A stainless steel firepoker is also included. Never leave the stove unattended while there is an active fire.

Be sure to open the vent at the bottom of the stove to allow for maximum airflow, fire starters and a long neck lighter are recommended, as well as kindling to start, prior to adding larger pieces of wood. It is recommended to keep zips at the bottom of the tent, as they can become hot to the touch in higher positions.
